Zion Lutheran Church (LCMS)

We host several Bible studies over the course of the year in multiple locations including Jackson, Lodi, and Valley Springs. We usually run in 10-15 week chunks, going on hiatus around Christmas, Easter, and for a period during the summer. However, our Sunday morning Lodi group typically continues to meet through the summer. You are welcome to join in person or via Zoom (a live video chat via the Internet).

Just a brief word about the title of these studies - "Soli Deo Gloria" (SDG) is a Latin phrase meaning "Glory to God alone." It's a powerful statement of Christian faith, emphasizing that all glory, honor, and praise are due to God. It is one of the "Solas" of the Reformation.

SDG Lodi (& Zoom) on Sunday evenings @ 6:30 p.m.
- Presently studying the Gospel According to Luke.
SDG Jackson on Wednesday mornings @ 10 a.m.
- Presently studying the Gospel According to Luke.
SDG Valley Springs on Wednesday afternoons @ 12:15 p.m.
- Presently studying Exodus.

To join the studies–

In person at the Zion campus in Lodi: Bible Studies are held in the Fireside Room. Park in the north parking lot (the smaller one) and enter the western most double doors (the ones with windows). The Fireside Room is the first room on the right side.
Our Jackson group meets at the Amador County Senior Center (229 New York Ranch Rd, Jackson, CA 95642). Enter, straight past the front desk, turn left at the first hallway, and enter the meeting room just through the door.
Our Valley Springs group meets at our Foothill Campus (225 CA-12, Valley Springs, CA 95252) just off of Highway 12. Enter the Fellowship Hall through the metal screen door.
